Eldery population is large in general and growing due to advancement of Health care. These people are faced with numerous physical , psycological and social role changes that challanges the sence of self and capacity to live happily. Bereavement, Social Isolation and lonliness are the main issues faced by the old people. They tend to have fewer opportunities for social engagements- They retire from jobs Children move away, Friends, sposes pass away and they eventually become housebound. They have mobility issues, become ill etc.
