NGO MAAST based out of Goa was founded in year 2005. The thrust of the activities was on initially was to create awareness about HIV/AIDS in radically deferent ways through entertainment Sports and Fun orientated activities. GRAFFITAIDS a Novel HIV/AIDS awareness Campaign was launched at he hands of then Goa Governor S.C. JAMIR at a colourful function featuring top celebrities of the Music, Fashion , TV and Bollywood Industry.
A book on the campaign ‘GRAFFITAIDS’ Supported by Govt. of Goa. was also published. This book containing Graffiti using Humour as the main medium was distributed far and wide in schools, colleges work places etc.
Since then MAAST has been organising various activities towards this objectives. During these last few years MAAST has also branched out to other social causes like Hunger, Malnutrition, Old age, Homelessness etc.
To make the world a better place by contributing to the various social causes and radically deferent and novel ways.
To be a leading umbrella organisation for all NGOs etc. by rendering all kinds of support – organisational, financial, material etc. to help them achieve their goals.
SNOW BALL – Christmas Dance & CRYSTAL BALL – The New Year Eve Show Two of our major Fund raising events held annually for over two decades. They are very popular events and attended by a large numbers of people from all walks of life. We use this popular events platform to create awareness about the social causes and also to raise funds.
